What is the 'Dangling Carrot' feature?

It's designed to entice customers to continue shopping until they reach your free shipping point.

The Free Shipping module must be enabled. Once it is, there will be a notification at the shopping cart page letting the customer know how much more money they need to spend to get free shipping.
