How do I setup "Authorize.net" as my payment gateway?

If you cannot process credit cards in store, then Authorize.net can process them for you. First you must register with Authorize.net and setup an account with them.

After you have successfully registered an account, click "Payment Modules" under "Site Settings". Then decide which Authorize.net system to use and insert your settings.

SIM:
This is the simpler method of integration since merchants are not required to have an SSL certificate installed in their sites. End customers are redirected to Authorize.net to do the payment checkout and the shopping cart is notified in a secure way through Silent Response. With this Silent Response, Comersus marks the order as paid, updates stock and sales and sends digital goods if this function has been configured.

AIM:
This is the most advanced method of integration and it allows end customers to pay without being redirected to the Authorize.net site. For this purpose, merchants must have an SSL certificate installed. By means of this certificate, the payment will be received using a secure connection.
