What is the difference between 'link product' and 'duplicate product'?

The main difference:

Link Product:
This will literally 'link' the product to where you want it. If you delete the original product, it will also delete the 'linked' product. If you delete the 'linked product' it will not effect the main product.

Duplicate Product:
This will literally copy the product where you want it. These two products are now totally separate and will in no way effect each other.
