What are email templates and how do I use them?


The email templates are dynamic and customizable templates to send a customer.

These come in handy when you change the order status of a particular order. We have filled this section with default notifications of the most popular, like 'order processing' or 'order shipped'.

If you add a new email template, it will be added to the notify customer area on the order information page.

The 'html' field is stating if the email will be displayed in full html code or regular text. The difference is you can customer html code (colors, background, ect) but with plain text you cannot.

The 'system' field is stating that your web store automatically sends out that email template to the customer without your telling it to. You may edit what it says in the messages, but you cannot turn these off.
