How to map data from the AMSi into the Pro-Active Websites format


How to map data from the AMSi into the Pro-Active Websites format

  1. Open the Excel file which you have exported from your AMSi system
  2. Open the Excel Import File from the Store Admin Panel of your Pro-Active Website (or download from here: http://www.musicpayhost.com:8080/sample_import.xls)
  3. Open the Category Export Excel File from the Store Admin Panel of your Pro-Active Website which is found under Product Manager >>> Export Categories
  4. Copy and Paste the information from the AMSi Excel file into the the Pro-Active Website Import File:
    a. Copy cell "D" from Tri- Tech (Model) and Paste into cells "L" (Products Code) and "M" (Products Model) of the Pro-Active Spreadsheet.
    b. Copy cell "E" from the AMSi (Sku) and paste into cell "S" (Your SKU) of the Pro-Active Spreadsheet.
    c. Copy cell "H" from the AMSi (Mfg) and paste into cell "S" (Products Manufacturer) of the Pro-Active Spreadsheet.
    d. Copy cell "I" from the AMSi (Desc) and paste into cells "B" (Products Name) and "I" (Products Description) of the Pro-Active Spreadsheet. *Note the Product Description from the AMSi System is made for Point of Sale and is not very descriptive. We recommend that you embellish the description with more details that you find from the product manufacture or from other sources on the internet.
    e. Copy cell "R" from the AMSi (Wcost) and paste into cell "E" (Products Cost) of the Pro-Active Spreadsheet.
    f. Copy cell "S" from the AMSi (Retail) and paste into cell "F" (Products List) of the Pro-Active Spreadsheet.
    g. Copy cell "T" from the AMSi (Ourprice) and paste into cell "G" (Products Price) of the Pro-Active Spreadsheet.
    h. Copy cell "Z" from the AMSi (Weight) and paste into cell "O" (Products Weight) of the Pro-Active Spreadsheet.*Note the Weight from the AMSi System is many times left empty. If you do not put a product weight into the Pro-Active spreadsheet, you will NOT be charging your customers for shipping.
    i. Copy cell "L" from the AMSi (Qty) and paste into cell "N" (Products Quantity) of the Pro-Active Spreadsheet.
  5.  Fill in the areas that are left empty on the Pro-Active spreadsheet:
    a. In cell "A" (Products Status) enter In Stock or Out of Stock for all products.
    b. In cell "D" (Tax Class) enter Taxable Goods for all products.
    c. In cell "J" (Products Type) enter Individual for all products.
    d. In cell "K" (Products Attribute) leave BLANK for all products.
    e. In cell "P" (Class ID) you will need to assign each product to a class ID which is found from the Category Export File which you had downloaded earlier.
    f. In cells "Q" (Small Image) and "R" (Large Image) name the product image after the product model and save as a jpg. So for example, if a product model is 123, the image name in BOTH cells would be 123.jpg. Those images will need to uploaded to /public_html/images/products/ and then into the Large and Small directories, respectively. If you choice, you can leave these cells blank, and upload individually once the product import has been done. 
    g. In cell "T" (Availability) Use S for In Store Only or O for Online Only. Leave blank for standard availability.
