How are the Master and Slave products entered?

This is a relationship based on if the product has multiple attributes. Meaning a product with more than one color, or sizes. You would first insert the master product (which you will not be able to set the price or description for). This near empty product will only be used to house all of the other products color/size option. Now create a slave product, using the same product code as the master, and set the Product Attribute and Model to something unique. When you view the master product on your store, you will see all of the various slaves associated with it. So for example, lets use a Les Paul. For the sake of this, we would set the Product Code and Product Model for the Master as GLP (for Gibson Les Paul) and set in Attribute Finish (or Color) Now for the Slaves, we would make the Attribute the variance, such as Cherry Sunburst. The Product code would be the same, GLP, but the model number would be GLP-CS. You would do this for each type of finish or color that you want.
